Policies and Procedures
- While it rarely takes this long, my timeline for each edit is three weeks.
- I reserve the right to refuse any work, at any time.
- While I am very open-minded, there are a few genres and topics that are beyond my comfort level. Every author is an artist, and their work is art. However, I reserve the right to decline a work at any time. Please be sure to inform me of any material that could pose an issue.
- Due to the delicate nature of the work, a sample, if desired, must be received before the start of the edit.
- Due to my wait list, the balance for the edit must be paid up front to hold your place in my schedule. This money is a deposit on your edited novel. IF, a refund is requested BEFORE the edit begins, I will grant it on a case by case basis; otherwise, it is non-refundable.
- If an edit has begun, no refunds are available. This is a step-by-step process and once I begin I cannot undo the hard work I've put in.
- If you have a complaint, for any reason at all, you must express it thoroughly, to allow me the chance to satisfy worries.
Please keep in mind, that while I am very good at my job I can make mistakes too. If you feel that there is an error, you have two options:
- Explain the issue and allow me to fix it.
- Reject the offending adjustment in the Word review panel.
Thank you so much for all of your patience and thoughtfulness.
